Whether you’re a seasoned artist or brand-new to the scene, this workshop is for you! Come ready to get messy, have fun, and leave with a tote bag guaranteed to turn heads.

Moiré Designs: An NYC-based print and embroidery studio (moonlighting as the “মরে” label) blending creative artistry with community-driven values. They began by offering design and print services to local businesses and nonprofits, while also providing boutique-scale manufacturing sourced from skilled artisans in Bangladesh. Moiré Designs specializes in small-batch production, bridging global craftsmanship with a personalized touch.
Dacca: A Bangladesh-based label that offers a nuanced commentary on the enduring legacy of Bengali craftsmanship and artisanal techniques. By engaging with their historical and cultural significance, Dacca reimagines these traditions in a contemporary context.
Broqué: A conscious, zero-waste streetwear label that creates abstract, one-off pieces with textile surpluses and handloom textiles. It integrates traditional craft techniques with innovative, zero-waste design approaches, fostering ecological and social resilience. Broqué has pioneered storytelling-based upcycling workshops that engage youth and community members to rediscover and embody South Asian cultural roots. The brand philosophy centers on slowing down time, focusing on finest craftsmanship that surpasses the test of time by rebelling against mass production.

- Design Drop: Explore the fire designs from Broqué, Dacca, and Moiré. Choose your favorite and let’s get this party started!
- Screen Printing Secrets: Discover the magic of guerilla-style screen printing. We’ll show you how to fashion a makeshift screen that’s both effective and eco-friendly.
- Ink It Up!: Time to get messy! We’ll guide you through ink application and squeegee techniques. Hands-on practice to master your print.
- Tote Bag/Tees Transformation: Print your brand-new design onto a tote bag or tees. Watch your masterpiece come to life.
- Clean Up: Pack up your masterpiece. Get ready to slay the streets with your new tees/tote bag!
Participants Will Receive (All the materials for the workshop will be provided but you can also BYOB (bring your own blanks to screen print on)
