Tickify is a ticketing and registration platform that facilitates ticket sales on behalf of independent event organizers. Tickify is not the organizer, producer, promoter, or operator of an event unless expressly stated otherwise.
By purchasing a ticket through Tickify, you acknowledge and agree to the following Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Unless expressly stated otherwise by the event organizer or required by applicable law, all ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.
Refunds will not be provided for reasons including, but not limited to:
A postponed or rescheduled event is not considered a cancelled event.
Unless otherwise announced by the Organizer, tickets purchased for the original event date will remain valid for the rescheduled date.
A postponement, rescheduling, delay, change of venue, change of timing, or change in lineup does not automatically create any right to a refund.
Any refund, exchange, credit, or other accommodation in such circumstances is determined solely by the Organizer and will be communicated to ticket holders if and when the Organizer provides such instructions.
If an event is officially cancelled by the Organizer, refund eligibility and the applicable refund procedure will be determined by the Organizer, subject to applicable law and any event-specific terms disclosed at the time of purchase.
Tickify does not independently authorize refunds merely because an event has been cancelled.
Where the Organizer approves refunds, Tickify may assist in processing them only after receiving appropriate authorization, instructions, and sufficient refundable funds from the Organizer.
Ticket-sale proceeds may be settled or disbursed to the Organizer in accordance with Tickify’s agreement with that Organizer.
Accordingly, Tickify does not guarantee, fund, advance, or pay Organizer-related refunds from Tickify’s own funds where the relevant ticket-sale proceeds have already been settled to the Organizer or where the Organizer has not provided sufficient funds for refunds.
The Organizer remains responsible for its event and for fulfilling any refund obligations applicable to that event.
Tickify may facilitate communication or payment processing between the Organizer and ticket holder, but such assistance does not make Tickify financially responsible for the Organizer’s obligations.
An event may have its own additional terms, cancellation policy, refund policy, or conditions established by the Organizer.
Where an Organizer-specific policy is displayed on the event page or communicated as part of the ticket purchase, that policy will apply to the event alongside this Refund Policy.
Where there is a refund request relating to the conduct, cancellation, postponement, rescheduling, venue, performers, or delivery of an event, Tickify may direct the ticket holder to the relevant Organizer.
Unless otherwise expressly confirmed by Tickify or required by applicable law, service charges, convenience fees, platform fees, payment gateway charges, processing charges, delivery charges, and other non-ticket fees are non-refundable, including where an Organizer elects to refund the ticket face value.
This is because these charges relate to services and transactions that have already been performed or incurred.
This policy does not prevent Tickify from correcting genuine payment-processing or technical errors attributable to Tickify or its payment partners.
Examples may include:
Such cases will be investigated separately and are not treated as ordinary ticket refund requests.
Where a refund has been duly approved by the Organizer and the necessary funds have been made available to Tickify, Tickify may process the refund on the Organizer’s behalf.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the Organizer, payment gateway, bank, card issuer, mobile financial service provider, and payment method.
Tickify does not guarantee a specific refund completion date unless expressly stated in writing.
Where possible, approved refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method. Alternative arrangements may be used where technically necessary.
Submitting a chargeback or payment dispute does not automatically establish entitlement to a refund.
Where a payment dispute is raised, Tickify may provide the relevant payment provider or financial institution with the ticket purchase records, acceptance of applicable policies, ticket issuance records, event information, communications, and other relevant evidence.
Tickets associated with a reversed, disputed, or charged-back transaction may be suspended or cancelled while the dispute is under review.
Nothing in this section limits any rights available to a customer under applicable law.
The Organizer is responsible for matters relating to the actual event, including its:
Tickify’s role is principally to provide the technology and ticketing infrastructure through which tickets are offered and issued.
Tickify may communicate announcements, postponements, cancellations, refund instructions, or other information to ticket holders on behalf of the Organizer.
Such communication should not be interpreted as Tickify assuming responsibility for the event or accepting financial liability for Organizer obligations.
For event-specific refund, cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling enquiries, customers may be directed to the Organizer using the Organizer contact details or official social-media channels displayed on the relevant event page.
Tickify Customer Support may assist with ticketing-platform or payment-related issues but cannot approve an Organizer refund without the Organizer’s authorization.
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or override any consumer right or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
If any provision of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory requirement of applicable law, that mandatory requirement will prevail to the extent of the conflict.
