Boithoki Shruti proudly presents a sublime evening of classical music dedicated to honouring the birth anniversary, life, and legacy of the late sitar virtuoso, Pandit Deepak Chaudhury. As one of the very few dedicated classical events of this calibre organised in the industry, this tribute concert represents a true milestone for classical music enthusiasts in Dhaka.

Pandit Deepak Chaudhury was one of the most notable and senior disciples of the legendary sitar maestro Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankar. Carrying forward the pure, traditional, and meditative musicality of the historic Senia Maihar Gharana, his masterful technique frequently drew comparisons to his guru. Beyond his solo stage mastery, his artistic genius extended to fusion music and the world of parallel cinema, where he collaborated closely with legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray as the featured Sitar Player for the iconic cinematic masterpiece Gopi Gyne Bagha Byne.

Ustad Ebadul Huq Shaikat: A distinguished sitar exponent from Bangladesh, Rabindra Bharati University alumnus, and a direct disciple of Pandit Deepak Choudhury. He currently serves as a sitar guru at Chhayanaut and Shilpakala Academy, carrying forward his Guru's extraordinary legacy.

Raquib Mahmud: A highly passionate, dedicated musician and direct disciple of Ustad Ebadul Huq Shaikat.

Gopi Debnath: A highly dedicated musician and direct disciple of Ustad Ebadul Huq Shaikat, known for deep emotional expression.

Tabla Accompaniment:
