If a picture is worth a thousand words, then your camera becomes your voice. The Visual Storytelling Competition invites you to craft compelling narratives that speak to both the heart and the mind. As a featured segment of BUP MediaComm Summit 2025, this challenge empowers undergraduate storytellers to combine creativity with purpose. It is about delivering message-driven content that resonates, inspires, and leaves a lasting impression.
This is a single round competition, which means you are just one powerful story away from becoming the champion.

Walton — Bangladesh's No. 1 Brand, Trusted by Millions Worldwide
With the largest customer base and a strong global export footprint, Walton stands as a symbol of innovation and reliability.
In this segment, participants will craft a powerful story inspired by user perceptions of the Walton brand. Each story must feature a compelling storyline and a new creative tagline that reflects Walton’s impact and presence.
✅ Eligibility
• Open to all undergraduate students from any university in Bangladesh
• Cross-university teams are welcome
• Participants can join individually or in teams of up to 5 members
• Only one submission per individual/team is allowed
• All participants must comply with the general rules of BUP MediaComm Summit 2025

• Registration Fee: BDT 250 per team (maximum 5 members)
• Registration is mandatory to participate
📽️ Submission Guidelines
🔹 Format:
• Online Video Content (OVC)
• Duration: Maximum 3 minutes (180 seconds)
• Resolution: Minimum 1080p (Full HD)
• Language: Bengali and/or English (subtitles recommended)
• File Format: MP4 preferred
📌 Content Rules
• Only original content is allowed
• AI-generated content is strictly prohibited
• Any plagiarism or use of unauthorized third-party content will lead to disqualification
• No offensive, harmful, or controversial material allowed
• Consent must be obtained from all individuals featured in the video
• No sponsor branding is allowed except Walton.
File Naming Format:
TeamName_BUPMCC (e.g., TeamVision_BUPMCC)
🕓 Timeline
• 28 June, 10:00 PM – Final deadline for video submission
• Then videos will be uploaded by organizers on official platforms (Facebook Page) shortly after
• Until 29 June, 10:00 PM – Public engagement phase: Like, Comment, Share
🧠 Judging Criteria
Videos will be evaluated through a two-round process:
✅ Core Evaluation Metrics:
• Creativity and originality
• Concept and message clarity
• Execution quality (visuals, editing, audio)
• Relevance to the theme
• Overall emotional and narrative impact
📊 Scoring Breakdown:
• 70% – Judges' Evaluation
• 30% – Public Engagement (likes, comments, shares on Facebook)
⚖️ Final Notes:
• Judges’ decisions are final and binding
• Results will be shared as per the official event schedule
🧠 Intellectual Property
By submitting their work, participants grant BUP MCC the right to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute submitted content for promotional purposes.
Participants will retain intellectual property rights, but a non-exclusive license may be required for official use.
🧭 Code of Conduct
• All participants must maintain a standard of respect, inclusivity, and professionalism
• Discrimination, harassment, or unethical behavior will result in disqualification
• All submitted content must be free from plagiarism and respect copyright laws

• Open to all undergraduate students from any university in Bangladesh.
• Cross-university teams are welcome.
• Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to four members.
• Only one submission per individual/team is allowed.
• All participants must comply with the general rules of BUP MediaComm Summit 2025.

1. Problem Statement – Local context, statistics, or real-life examples
2. Root Causes – Key drivers behind the issue
3. Proposed Solution – Campaign, intervention, product, policy, or innovation
4. Stakeholders & Implementation Plan – Target groups and execution roadmap
5. Expected Impact – Projected outcomes and benefits
6. Sustainability or Scalability – Potential for long-term growth and adoption

• 30 June: Top 8 shortlisted teams will present their ideas on-campus at BUP
• 01 July: Top two finalist team will pitch live on the same topic in front of a distinguished jury panel, featuring Heads of Communications from leading INGOs.
